Helldivers 2

Arrowhead is working to raise that number again. The goal of the Helldivers 2 studio’s actions is to maintain the game’s overwhelmingly large player base.based on how many players are playing at the same time. This week, Helldivers 2 quickly overtook the biggest PlayStation Studio releases on Steam.

The employee writes, “Earlier tonight we had server-related issues with a concurrent player spike.” This resulted in the failure of some mission payouts. Certain players are being logged out or kicked to their ships. The message continues.

Helldivers Groups:

“Day and night, our group is working to solve these issues. We’re still having problems growing at the necessary rate, despite having been able to address some of the causes. Despite the extreme demand, the team raised the maximum concurrent player count from 360,000 to 450,000 in an effort to “further improve server stability.” This suggests that until the capacity increases again or, less likely, the demand declines, a sizable number of players will likely be in line. In an encouraging move, the team is working with “partners to get the ceiling raised.”

CEO Johan Pilestedt claims that a player-versus-player component will “never” be added to Helldivers 2. This makes sense, given the enormous popularity of the game and the community’s common goal of promoting democracy (and robot explosions).
