Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth remakes original screenshots from the 1997 JRPG featuring Yuffie and Cait Sith. Also, the Gold Saucer features a lovely glow-up. Huge glow-up screenshots from Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth in comparison to the original RPG have been released by Square Enix.
Even though Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is a remake of a portion of a 1997 game, Square Enix will still likely honor memorable scenes from the original to garner praise from its devoted fan base. For instance, a brand-new screenshot straight out of the original game shows Yuffie standing victorious atop a hill and staring off into the sunset.
As one might expect, this is quite popular among the more seasoned Final Fantasy 7 enthusiasts. Like the aforementioned Twitter user, fans have noticed that the new screenshot is a replica of one from 1997 quite quickly. Perhaps Yuffie’s iconic pose did not have that much of an impact.
Cait Sith:
There’s also the amazing new image from Rebirth featuring Cait Sith and its Moogle companion. Just like the Yuffie screenshot, this is also a straight remake of some 1997 Final Fantasy 7 promotional content, so it’s not new at all. Even though the Gold Saucer in the background appears slightly different, it still has the same thrilling vibe as the original product.
Though Square Enix is releasing these 1:1 replicas of iconic poses, don’t expect the game to follow suit. Since Zack isn’t dead anymore, we already know he will play an “immensely important” role in Rebirth. Which is a significant change from the original game. In the new role-playing game, things won’t be exactly as you remember them.
